16 Days of Activism
The 16 Days of Activism aims to raise awareness about gender-based violence, challenge discriminatory attitudes, and call for improved laws and services to end violence against women for good.
It begins on the 25th November 2021, coinciding with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and ends on World Human Rights Day on 10th December 2021.

The North Coast rental affordability, and availability of rental properties is among the lowest in the state, giving women and children who need to leave their homes very limited opportunities for new safe beginnings. Momentum Collective, along with partners Clarence River Domestic and Violence Support Services and Women Up North Housing, support over 3,000 women and children accessing our services each year due to not being able to stay safely in their own homes with violent partners or family members.
